    The successful candidate will have at least one years experience in retail working as a CAD Designer on 1 or more catagories, who will have the ability to learn multi product, be commercially aware on upcoming trends and colours and have a strong CAD design portfolio.


    What you'll be doing

    We are looking for a candidate that will grow with the company and add support and value to the design team.

    Duties range from:

    • Sole responsibility for the design and production of silhouettes across all departments,
    • Including  presenting monthly research into print, silhouette and shape trend across both Mountain Warehouse and Neon Sheep brands to support the graphic design team each season.
    • On a daily basis producing CAD/Illustrator designs across Womenswear, Menswear, Kidswear and Hardgoods departments.
    • Researching print, silhouette and colour trends.
    • Reporting into the Senior Designer, we are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious, and creative designer to join a small fast paced team.

    We would love to meet someone with

    • Strong skills in adobe software (illustrator, Photoshop)
    • A determination to achieve and succeed
    • Creative industry experience and creative vision
    • The ability to meet deadlines in a high pressure environment
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • A background of working as part of a team
    • The ability to see projects through from inception to production
    • Consistency regardless of project size
    • Good organisational skills that support the rest of the team
    • Strong CAD design portfolio demonstrating a range of technical cads and colours
    • Engaging portfolio including trend and colour direction
    • Good knowledge of best practice and awareness of garment construction and legal requirements is a bonus
