  • Overview

    We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, resourceful, hardworking Retail Marketing Assistant who will grow with the company and add value to our team. Being remarkably organised, with a passion for marketing and the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across all areas of the business, is key for success in this role. With over 290 Mountain Warehouse stores across UK, Europe and North America, plus launch of our new brand Neon Sheep in 2018, there are plenty of exciting opportunities for the right candidate

    What you'll be doing

    • Assist in the marketing of new store openings across all territories and brands
      • Keep on top of the New Store Opening Rollout Plan
      • Brief in store opening artwork to graphic team in line with new store opening plan
      • Send out coms to stores in time for opening
      • Proactively contact centre marketing teams and actively seeking local marketing opportunities around new store openings
    • Keep on top of the retail marketing activity calendar and assist with the
      • Coordination and support for in store events
      • Briefing of relevant codes and ensure they are set up and working prior to event
      • Brief in artwork when needed and ensure artwork is produced within timeframe
      • Evaluate the event and gather feedback from stores
    • Be the point of contact for external centre marketing teams on a day to day basis to deal with ad hock marketing requests
    • Day to day monitor and response to store requests regarding marketing and events
    • Assist with the implementation of retail marketing to improve the performance of the lower performing stores and work to improve top performing stores
    • Assisting with sending out weekly centre marketing communication emails communicating in store events and promotions in line with the promo calendar for so to report on results
    • Working alongside AMs / DMs across all territories to identify opportunities local to stores with the aim to drive footfall and increase store awareness
    • Assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of national retail marketing campaigns and partnership
    • Work with the marketing team to produce the quarterly Global Traveller
    • Take ownership of the retail marketing contact database and actively seeking new contacts for current and new stores

    • Experience from a retail environment (this is not mandatory)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Good knowledge of Excel
