  • Overview

    The Retail Operations team is very much the hub of the business as our core role is to ensure the stores operate smoothly and any problems are resolved as quickly as possible - We also support all other areas of the business with any challenges they may have been presented. We are both a problem solving and a planning department with no two days ever being the same.    

    What you'll be doing

    • Coordinate all opening of new stores, refit and closing of stores with a full complement of the appropriate tools
    • Manage and coordinate the critical paths in partnership with Area/ Country Managers, Logistic, IT, VM and Logistic Department
    • Reviewing, updating and drafting policies, procedures and reference tools, liaising with relevant departments to ensure all content remains accurate and is aligned to business needs
    • Managing project work related to (but not limited to) streamlining and compliance
    • Working closely with the Retail Operations Manager to implement and monitor incentives, highlighting successful models and identifying internal best practice
    • Producing and implementing new tools, templates and processes which improve departmental performance and contribute to key business objectives
    • Monitoring budgets and managing expenditures to ensure costs are in line with planned spend (realising savings wherever possible)
    • Store support. You will be involved with the waste management, POS and stationary orders, fixtures orders, arranging deliveries, POS allocation and printing, internal/ external communication
    • Project support: We are constantly thriving to reduce costs and improve service and quality, you will be involved in constantly
    • General dept. admin and reporting: reporting on sales and financial figures, reporting on orders processed.

    We would love to meet someone with

    • European language spoken is an advantage -German or Polish
    • Previous experience in a fast-paced retail environment (either within store or a head office environment)
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong relationship building skills, with the proven ability to effectively influence and negotiate with a range of stakeholders
    • Initiative and drive, with a genuine passion for retail and the role that the retail operations department plays in driving business success
    • The ability to effectively manage a varied and challenging workload
    • The ability to multitask, maintain focus under pressure and ensure accuracy and attention to detail at all times
    • Advanced Microsoft Outlook skills
